The Will County Regional Office of Education (ROE) serves as an intermediate agency between the Illinois State Board of Education and local school districts. The ROE is administered by Dr. Shawn Walsh, a licensed educator who has been elected to the office of Regional Superintendent. The ROE oversees several special programs and services, including Lincoln Alternative School, the Professional Development Alliance, educator licensure support, truancy prevention, high school equivalency transcripts, fingerprinting, life safety inspections of school buildings, and bus driver training.
Our Mission Statement, "Working with our communities to support student learning," focuses on three areas, Safety, Support, and Success.
|Please be advised that ComEd has notified the ROE that there will be scheduled preventative maintenance in the vicinity of the office. The ROE may experience power outages on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 9:00am – 4:00pm. These outages may prevent the normal day-to-day operations of the office. There will be no fingerprint appointments scheduled and technical assistance may be difficult without access to statewide databases and programs. Thank you for your understanding.|
