According to Illinois School Code,
the responsibility of overseeing the General Educational Development (GED®) Testing Program is entrusted to the Regional
Superintendent's Office. This is a series of four (4) tests covering Social
Studies, Science, Language Arts (reading/writing), and Math,
and United States Constitutions. Passing this series of tests entitles
registrants (17 years of age or older without a high school diploma) to
receive a high school equivalency certificate.
If you did not pass or complete your GED test
by Dec. 31, 2013 you scores are now invalid.
You will need to take the new 2014 GED test.
